About AssuredCPD
We started AssuredCPD because the CPD accreditation market is unregulated, slow, and opaque — long contracts, hidden pricing, month-long reviews. We thought training providers deserved a body that was faster, clearer, and demonstrably independent.
Our independence
AssuredCPD does not publish or sell training content, and never will. We don't compete with the providers we accredit, and we don't sell learner data. Our sister learning platform, Lectern, is run as a separate company precisely so that AssuredCPD's judgement stays above suspicion.
That separation isn't cosmetic. It's the reason the mark means something.
Independence is also a matter of public record: Assured CPD Ltd has its own directors and ownership, registered at Companies House and distinct from the providers we accredit.
Governance
Accreditation decisions carry a name and a documented basis. Oversight rests on a published standard, a separation between decision and appeal, and a complaints route that does not depend on goodwill.

Every submission is scored against the six domains of the Standards Framework v1.0. The document governs; marketing summaries do not.
An appeal is reviewed by a different assessor from the one who decided, within 15 working days. Complaints follow a published procedure.
We do not publish the names of individual assessors. Providers are told who assessed their submission in the written decision, so accountability sits with a person rather than a committee — without turning assessors into a marketing asset.
We are working toward listing on The CPD Register, targeted for later in our first year. Until that listing is confirmed, we make no claim to it.
We will never describe ourselves as "government-approved" or "the UK's leading CPD body." We describe what is true: independent, assessor-led, and openly priced.
